Treasure Hunt

Heritage Scrap is having a March Treasure Hunt for hidden coins that are good for store discounts. Along with that, the March Designer Collab is full of traditional Irish papers and elements. Even if you aren't Irish you're going to want some of these kits. So take a look at them. Most of the store is on sale for 17% off for the whole month starting on Tuesday the 2nd.

New Kits at Heritage Scrap

I have four, yes four, new kits on sale at Heritage Scrap. The first one is a set of leaf masks and if you've never used masks, you're in for a treat. These masks can turn an ordinary photo into a work of art. I've included instructions on how to use them in case you aren't familiar with them.



The second one is a set of 14 softly colored pastel papers that are suitable for use as backgrounds for layouts, cards and altered art. Next is a 1920's Art Dec Valentine kit. It's a little different from a traditional Valentine kit, but I think you'll like it. And last is The Potting Shed which is a kit that's based on my own potting shed. It has 53 elements that will enable you to do most any gardening layout.

So go over and take a look at all these new kits. There are several new kits by other designers that I'm sure you'll be able to use also. All the new items are on sale for the first week, so take advantage of that.

Two New Kits

I have two new kits in the shop at Heritage Scrap. Both of them are of vintage advertising images. The first one is full of small images that can be used in altered art, ATCs, cards and brag books. You could also cluster them to use on regular layouts. The second kit is images sized for regular 12x12 layouts. They are all copyright free and can be used just about anyway you'd like. So take a look at them - they're on sale right now.

I managed to get a new kit finished just in time for all the Black Friday and holiday sales that are going to be happening at Heritage Scrap. I have a new kit at Heritage Scrap. It's a digital version of a Victorian photo album. Check it out - the work is done for you as it has 16 quick pages that can be resized for printing. All you need to do is add your photos to have a finished album!

M & J Trimmings

In addition to digital scrapbooking, I sew and sell dollclothes on EBay. Last week I was in New York City visiting my daughter and we made the necessary trip to M & J Trimmings in the garment district. For those of us that sew, M & J is a wonderland. The entire store is nothing but trims, laces, appliques, ribbons and buttons. I've been there 3 or 4 times now and still haven't seen everything. Spending a lot of money there is no problem at all, so I really have to restrain myself and choose wisely. However, it's difficult not to buy something just because it's beautiful!
